Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L/100%
to be filled. Starting date is as soon as possible. The position is limited to nine months.

Your duties
  • You will carry out independent research related to the Neoproterozoic carbon cycle
Your profile
  • PhD with a Master or Diplom in geochemistry or a related field
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrated excellent research track record through publications in renowned international journals
  • Experience with triple oxygen isotope measurements and laser spectroscopy are considered an advantage

Applicants are required to submit a description of a proposed research project, limited to a maximum of three pages, related to the Neoproterozoic carbon cycle that they intend to carry out in Göttingen. Preference will be given to projects that make full use of the department's stable isotope facilities, particularly those incorporating triple oxygen isotope analyses. Interdisciplinary projects are encouraged.
