The Esri R&D center-Stuttgart develops the software technology Reality Engine, which is used worldwide to reconstruct 3D surface models from images and lidar. As one of the leading solutions in this domain, it focuses on high accuracy and large-scale applications such as aerial mapping of entire cities and countries. The resulting data empowers various applications in areas such as smart cities, infrastructure, 5G planning, change detection, environment monitoring, cadaster mapping, or VR.

Responsibilities

  • Build UI components using xaml
  • Build User Experiences to process, visualize, and share large 3D data models
  • Collaborate on implementation designs with team members and across other teams
  • Contribute to unit tests that back the quality of the development
  • Work closely with product engineers to innovate and develop based on our Reality Engine

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience in software development using C#
  • Familiarity with MVVM and xaml
  • Passion for desktop UI/UX development
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field
  • Existing work authorization for Germany

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with Geospatial software, specifically Esri's ArcGIS platform
  • Master's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field
