Vice President Fluid Systems Engineering (m/f/d)

Job Description

Tasks - What to expect from us:
  • You have overall responsibility for the development and advancement of highly complex fluid systems across all engine platforms and shape their technological direction
  • You lead and develop an international team of managers and specialists (7 team leads, 4 specialists) and strategically further expand the organization
  • You steer the global development organization, including workforce planning, capability development, and capacity management
  • You are responsible for core systems such as oil, fuel (diesel/gas), cooling, turbocharging, and exhaust aftertreatment systems and actively drive their further development
  • You shape key technologies such as injection, cooling, turbocharging, and aftertreatment systems with direct impact on performance, efficiency, and emissions
  • You are responsible for design and engineering (3D/2D, assemblies, bills of materials) as well as sustaining engineering, including quality topics (FiRe, CiF), variant and deviation management
  • You define control strategies and are responsible for the calibration of exhaust aftertreatment systems

Qualifications - Who we are looking for:
  • You bring extensive leadership experience in international engineering organizations
  • You combine empathy with strong communication skills and proven leadership capabilities
  • You excel in stakeholder management and demonstrate strong entrepreneurial and technical understanding
  • You have sound expertise in engine technology and deep knowledge of fluid systems (oil, fuel, cooling, turbocharging, exhaust aftertreatment)
  • You are familiar with modern development methods as well as relevant standards and regulatory requirements
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • You are willing to travel approximately 10%
