The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents in Germany. Recruitment limited only to the local commuting area of Spangdahlem.

Help
The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities.
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations and payment, notifies participants of schedule changes.
- Arranges for use of equipment or tools, and checks them for condition on their return.
- Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers questions about items, locations, or other matters related to activities scheduled.
- Conducts inventory of recreation supplies and equipment.
- Checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assists within the Pro Shop.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.
- Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities, is desirable.
- However no experience is required.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
