Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist willing to join our Finance team. You will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting processes while supporting an international and dynamic business environment.

You will carry out the following activities:

• Handling day-to-day accounting and document processing, particularly in accounts payable and travel expenses
• Preparing account reconciliations, reminders, and reports of all kinds
• Assisting in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/HGB
• Preparing statistical reports (e.g. Bundesbank)
• Active participation in the standardization and optimization of processes
• Collaboration in an international environment, e.g., within the scope of projects and/or analyses at the consolidated group level

Required profile:

• Degree or vocational training in accounting, as well as relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in SAP FI / SAP CO required
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and consolidated financial reporting in accordance with IFRS / HGB
• Initial experience in auditing or preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Interest in optimizing accounting-related processes
• Ability to work in a team, independence, and the ability to work autonomously
• Proficiency in German and English
