We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Event Manager to support the planning and execution of internal and external events on a global scale and to provide hands-on marketing support alongside the Marketing Manager, ensuring consistent brand messaging and successful campaign delivery.

Reinsurance is a relationship-driven B2B market where personal, direct engagement with clients and brokers is essential. Hosted and attended events are central to our marketing and thought-leadership strategy, driving global brand visibility and creating high-value business development opportunities.
About the Department & Team:
The International Global Distribution & Marketing team is a multicultural group spread across four countries, collaborating across all LM Re regions and product lines to deliver integrated, global distribution solutions as well as marketing support.
Liberty Mutual Re (LM Re) offers brokers and cedants a broad range of products through both the Company and Lloyd's markets. Present in all major global market hubs, we provide treaty property, casualty and specialty solutions. As of 31 December 2025, LM Re generated more than $3 billion in revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute global events including conferences, broker and client seminars, webinars and internal company events.
• Own end-to-end event and project management from concept and programme design through logistics (venue sourcing, vendor coordination, budgeting and timelines) to on-site delivery, if needed and post-event evaluation.
• Manage communications across the entire attendee journey, pre-event invitations and promotion (including social), in-event updates, and post-event surveys and follow-ups-to maximise engagement and measure impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns aligned with company objectives.
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as presentations, social media content, and promotional assets.
• Track event performance and marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain event calendars, marketing schedules, and project timeline and implement a software and AU driven participant and guest management
• Ensure brand consistency across all events and marketing communications.
• Support administrative and operational marketing tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience:
• Successful completed apprenticeship as an event manager (Veranstaltungskauffrau/-mann), Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Good experience in event coordination and/or marketing support roles.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are advantageous.
• Excellent collaborative and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
• Experience working with global teams or international events is a plus.
• Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing tools, social media platforms).
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for event support.
