WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Within the HR Services Team France, we are a diverse and inclusive team of experts and young professionals. Together, we are committed to deliver the highest quality of service to our BASF partners in France. To complete our Administration& Payroll team, we are looking for an HR Specialist/ Officer (m/f/d) with a strong enthusiasm for Payroll, HR processes and customer relations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You process variable elements for the preparation of monthly payroll, improve and maintain HR administrative processes in our HR systems.
  • You prepare monthly and yearly reporting on HR data.
  • You ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements concerning our HR services are met.
  • You advise and inform the employees based in France regarding HR topics.
  • You work closely with our local HR partners in France as well as with our internal departments in Berlin and our technical service providers.
  • You are innovative and participate in internal projects, identify opportunities for improvement and encourage the sharing of best practices between our European HR teams.
  • You take part in the digitalization of our HR services; by identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing best practices with your international colleagues.


WHAT YOU OFFER

  • You have successfully completed vocational training or hold a degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field, and you bring initial professional experience in HR, including a first exposure to payroll processes.
  • Building on this initial experience, you are motivated to further develop your knowledge of payroll processes and deepen your understanding of legal regulations related to social security, taxation, time management, and compensation & benefits.
  • You feel comfortable working with HR systems (ideally SAP HR) and have a good level of confidence using Excel in your daily work.
  • You are fluent in French and have a good command of English. Knowledge of German would be a plus.
  • You enjoy working with people and interacting with stakeholders in a friendly, helpful, and service-oriented way.
  • You have strong analytical and organizational skills and are able to structure your work well, even when working towards deadlines.
