At the nearby Kleinostheim site, the company primarily manufactures infrared emitters for industrial process technology, particularly for heat treatment and drying in a wide range of industries such as automotive, coating, plastics, textiles, food, printing, and glass. In addition, this site houses a modern application competence center where practical tests with customer materials and laboratory simulations of specific processes are conducted to determine the optimal process solution.

The position Commercial Contract and Risk Manager (m/f/d) is also available at one of our other German locations, such as Göttingen or Feldkirchen.

What to expect:

• You will work closely with the sales team, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business agreements.
• You will serve as the regional point of contact for all contract-related inquiries.
• You will advise executives on potential risks in business agreements and provide clear recommendations to support informed decisions.
• You ensure that Excelitas' business objectives and compliance requirements are upheld at all times.
• You are responsible for implementing and adhering to internal guidelines and processes for approving customer proposals.
• In addition, you develop and implement process improvements to make risk analysis and assessment within the company more efficient.

What we're looking for:

• Successfully completed law degree with two state examinations or a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree; a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree is preferred.
• Several years of professional experience (ideally at least five years) in a corporate legal department or a law firm specializing in commercial law, particularly in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and business contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law as well as the legal assessment and management of business and contractual risks.
• Experience in negotiating manufacturing, supply, and development contracts, as well as knowledge of compliance issues, is desirable.
• Strong ability to assess complex legal issues independently, in a solution-oriented and business-minded manner, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and reliably meet deadlines.
• Enjoyment of working in international teams and a high degree of teamwork.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
