Your impact
As part of a centralised finance team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, on time, and in line with German accounting standards.
What you'll be doing
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices (PO and non-PO) with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure correct coding (GL, cost centres, VAT) and compliance with internal policies
- Manage invoice workflows and approvals
- Post and reconcile AP transactions, resolving discrepancies proactively
- Support payment runs across multiple currencies
- Act as a key contact for vendors and internal stakeholders, handling queries professionally
What you bring
- Experience in Accounts Payable within a German environment
- Good understanding of German VAT and accounting practices
- Familiarity with tools such as DATEV, AP workflow systems, or electronic banking (e.g. S-Firm)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- A structured, reliable approach with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international/remote team
- Fluent German and good English communication skills
