Tasks
The Finance Department is responsible for a wide range of areas, including accounting, reporting, and payment processing, as well as actuarial reserving and procurement.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Invoice creation and mailing
- Support with quarterly reports and annual financial statements
- Preparation of reports, statistics, analyses, and presentations in the financial context of an insurance company
- Maintenance of internal company databases and information systems
- Data analysis and processing
Requirements
We are looking for an energetic team member who is fun, passionate, and eager to learn. Does this sound like you?
- Enrolled student (m/f/other) majoring in economics, business informatics, tax law, or a related field
- Basic understanding of business processes
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel), preferably also experience with Office 365 and, if applicable, Tableau
- Availability to work at least 2-3 days a week (20 hours)
- Fluent German
- English skills are a plus
- Independent, motivated, communicative, flexible, and reliable
- High sense of responsibility and meticulous work ethic
