Your Role:

Operational excellence is not just a methodology - it is the engine that drives sustainable performance, quality, and competitiveness across a site. As Operational Excellence Manager at our Schnelldorf site, you will translate regional and global operational excellence strategies into tangible, site-level impact. You will lead end-to-end process analysis to identify inefficiencies, reduce complexity, and deliver measurable improvements across time, cost, quality, and safety dimensions. Owning the development of detailed process maps and governance frameworks, you will establish performance metrics and routine review cycles that ensure consistency and compliance. Driving continuous improvement programs - including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - you will build compelling business cases that capture and communicate the value delivered. Working across functions in a matrix environment, you will prioritize and manage a portfolio of improvement initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with site and business objectives. Through data visualization and clear storytelling, you will bring insights to life for leadership and operational teams alike - fostering a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and lasting best practice.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business Analytics, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field - or bring equivalent professional experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process optimization, or a closely related discipline, with a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements.
  • You bring strong expertise in Lean and Six Sigma tools; a Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a distinct advantage.
  • You have experience with process governance, harmonization, and performance management across cross-functional areas.
  • You are a skilled project and process manager, able to prioritize competing demands and drive multiple initiatives to successful completion.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence - translating complex data into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • You are fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) and are experienced in facilitating change and stakeholder engagement within matrix organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP), manufacturing or industrial operations environments, or additional certifications in continuous improvement or change management methodologies is a plus.
