You will be responsible for executing improvement initiatives, delivering end-to-end optimizations, and ensuring sustained project benefits. With a focus on data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Process Mining, this role is key to Hapag-Lloyd's continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Process Excellence roadmap, aligning initiatives with Hapag-Lloyd's priorities and objectives
- Optimize cycle time, cost, quality, compliance, and customer experience through structured problem-solving and disciplined implementation
- Identify root causes, redesign processes, and ensure standard adoption across regions and functions
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures to steer performance and turn data insights into actions
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and Process Mining to detect bottlenecks and quantify operational impact
- Implement uniform standards to reduce variation and increase reliability across the global process landscape
- Drive automation and centralization initiatives, overseeing projects from business case to implementation
- Maintain long-term project success through controls, documentation, training, and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Business Process Management / Continuous Improvement with a track record of successful project execution and measurable benefits
- Ability to translate strategic roadmaps into prioritized, well-executed operational initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and KPI-based performance management
- Understanding of Process Mining to identify opportunities and track operational impact
- Experience facilitating cross-functional transformation and driving decisions with diverse stakeholders
- Solid automation mindset and experience leveraging technical tools for process optimization
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills in a global, diverse environment; experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is a plus
- Independent, results-driven work style with high ownership, agility, and resilience
