We're now looking for a Junior Category Manager - Bakery who will support the growth and performance of this important category. Someone who enjoys working with data, suppliers and day-to-day commercial operations, and who wants to grow into a stronger category role over time.

What you'll do
  • Support the commercial performance of the Bakery category
  • Work closely with bakery suppliers and support category reviews and commercial negotiations
  • Help manage assortment, pricing and promotions across the category
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to support campaigns and stock availability
  • Support the introduction of new products and seasonal ranges
  • Monitor supplier pricing, stock situation, trends and operational updates
  • Work with data, reports and analysis to support better commercial decisions
  • Help optimise processes across the bakery value chain - from supplier coordination to daily execution
What we're looking for
  • We're looking for someone who combines commercial curiosity, analytical thinking and a willingness to learn
  • At least 1+ year of experience in category management, buying, sales support, trade marketing or a similar commercial role
  • Experience in Bakery, Food retail, FMCG or fresh categories is a strong advantage
  • Strong interest in working with data, Excel and AI tools in daily practice
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and internal teams
  • Advanced German and advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Driving licence (Class B) is required for supplier visits
