Occupational Safety Expert (m/f/d)
The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) function, with around 1,300 real estate experts, is responsible for more than 12,000 properties worldwide with a total area of over 38 million m. As part of Corporate Real Estate (CRE), the "Bonn Campus Management" unit consolidates all topics related to infrastructure and accessibility at the Bonn location. This includes managing topics in the areas of mobile and fixed-line networks, visitor services, the Deutschlandticket, parking facilities, as well as company catering and office space design.
Expert (m/f/d) 7725 Ahp-1 / EGr 9 (BesGr A13vz,A13/A14)
Fixed-term for 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of topics and projects within the "Bonn Campus Management" department at the Bonn location regarding requirements in occupational health and safety, fire protection, first aid, emergency and crisis management, as well as technical facility management and the associated processes.
- Prepare and conduct the Occupational Health and Safety Committee meetings for the headquarters
- Develop, align, and support the implementation of an annual occupational health and safety program, including building inspections, risk assessments, and process descriptions
- Coordinate and collaborate with external authorities, consulting firms, and experts in the field of occupational safety to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices
- Organize fire protection briefings and first-aid courses, including the recruitment of first-aid and fire protection helpers
- Act as a coordinator for cross-building and cross-organizational occupational health and safety as well as emergency management
- Provide information for employees and managers, such as briefing materials, fire protection regulations, emergency plans, etc.
- Provide project support in organizational and technical projects, e.g., in the area of fire and flood protection:
- Conduct analyses as well as prepare content and support the creation of strategic decision-making materials for management
- Coordinate internal and external facility management service providers
- Monitor project status of ongoing projects and carry out alignments with internal stakeholders
- Organize and conduct internal training sessions and briefings
Professional Requirements:
- University degree with a relevant specialization/focus, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in occupational health and safety, ideally with a relevant additional qualification (e.g., Occupational Safety Officer / Sicherheitsbeauftragte:r (SiBe))
- Experience in project management, ideally in the fields of Facility Management, Campus Management, or similar areas
- Experience and knowledge in the field of occupational health and fire protection, as well as the relevant standards
- Experience in collaborating with external service providers
- Very good MS Office skills
- Very good German skills and business fluent English skills
