We're looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer to own critical infrastructure: payment orchestration, merchant APIs, settlement flows, and the services that keep it all running.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and operate production payment services end-to-end
- Own your infrastructure (AWS, Terraform)-no separate ops team
- Ship APIs, data pipelines, and internal tooling with real production stakes
- Work primarily in Rust and TypeScript
What we're looking for
- Senior backend experience shipping and operating production systems
- Strong API and system design instincts
- Cloud-native infrastructure ownership (AWS preferred)
- Clear written communication for a remote, async team
- Effective use of AI-assisted development with strong human review
Nice to have: Rust, payments/fintech background, crypto/Web3 familiarity Build the infrastructure for onchain payments at scale.
