Right now, we're looking for a new colleague to join our Procurement in the position of Associate Specialist, Ocean Product & Pricing.
This role will provide the forwarding business with International Logistic Product support, acting as product lead for EMEA region.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
Strong analytical skills and mindset
Good Excel skills
Self-confident and openminded individual
Flexibility and ability to work with time constraints
Proficiency in English is required, knowledge of the second European Language would be an asset (German, Dutch, other)
Previous experience with Rate Management system is an asset

The typical salary range for this position is: 45,000 - 55,753
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
This role is also open in alternative locations (London, UK and Rotterdam, Netherlands). The local salary ranges will be shared accordingly before the interview process.
Main Responsibilities:
Support vendor rate and capability analysis
Continuous carrier portfolio review for services specific to the region
Support procurement activities for spot bids and RFQs
Research for market intel and prepare relevant materials in support of commercial activities of EMEA commercial team
Review and analyse key customer profitability reports
Coordinate rate management process for trades managed by EMEA Procurement
