Responsible for performing general (non-mechanical) labor duties such as strapping finished foods, stacking pallets, tote makeups and tear downs, and dumping.
- Performs general (non-mechanical) labor duties such as but not limited to strapping finished goods, stacking pallets, tote makeups and tear downs, and dumping.
- Inspects product for extraneous materials, dumps totes, closes boxes and performs other duties on the line as directed.
- Ensures that each job function is performed according to specifications.
- Keeps work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
- Responsible for physically lifting to 50-100 pounds, as required.
- Ensures individual job objectives and corporate objectives are met.
- Reports any mechanical and/or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.
- Adheres to common safety practices and procedures including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.
- Adheres to the Company’s plant hygiene standards consistent with GMP’s to ensure high product integrity.
- Should not leave work area unless given permission by the Supervisor or Lead.
- Responsible for following food safety, legality, and quality polices and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Freezer’s Production Supervisor or Lead.
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to record data onto a spreadsheet.

- Must be able to work overtime as required.
