Your Tasks
- Programming of winding and AFP systems
- Supervision and technical management of development projects
- Technical support and optimisation of manufacturing processes in series production
- Development of process standards
- Conducting test programmes, producing production samples and test components in accordance with aviation standards, including the preparation of associated manufacturing documentation and specifications
- Liaison with design and analysis
- Collaboration and coordination of project work with institutes, universities and partners
- Presentation of results in reports and meetings to management, project management and customers
Your Qualifications
- Engineer (TU/FH) specialising in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, fibre composites/lightweight construction, materials science, or plastics engineering
- Several years' experience with winding and AFP systems, including their programming
- In-depth technical knowledge of winding and AFP technology and the manufacture of composite components
- Knowledge of Lean Management or Six Sigma would be an advantage
- Several years' experience in the manufacture of composite components
- Experience with composite CAD/CAM
- Experience in the manufacture of prototypes or small-batch production
- Experience with construction methods, design and, where applicable, the calculation of fibre-reinforced composites
- Organisational skills, a solution-oriented approach and the ability to communicate technical matters effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Network of companies and institutes in the field of fibre-reinforced composite technology
- Good judgement regarding technical, economic and scheduling matters
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Business fluency in spoken and written English
