Our client is a leading international manufacturer of premium wall and floor solutions, operating in 65+ countries and serving residential, commercial, and public-sector projects worldwide.

About the Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly analytical, and execution-driven professional to partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in driving the growth of the European Tiles business.

This is not a traditional management position. Instead, it is a highly strategic and operational role with direct impact on revenue growth, pricing strategies, sales performance, and project execution. Acting as the CCO's right hand, the successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating commercial excellence across Europe.

We are looking for "Commercial Excellence Manager" for their organization in Merzig, Saarland, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

PMO & Project Acceleration

• Own and drive the Commercial PMO, from prioritization through execution.
• Ensure fast and effective implementation of go-to-market initiatives.
• Structure, monitor, and scale strategic projects across the European retail and project business.

Commercial Excellence & Sales Performance

• Develop proactive pricing and sales strategies.
• Analyze sales, pricing, and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to improve commercial effectiveness.

Process Optimization & Efficiency

• Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Build lean, scalable commercial processes.
• Improve data transparency to support faster and more effective decision-making.

Who Are We Looking For?

• 5-10 years of experience within a top-tier management consulting firm or a private equity portfolio company.
• Proven success in transitioning into a hands-on operational role.
• Highly proactive, solution-oriented, and execution-focused mindset.
• Strong "hunter" mentality with the ability to identify opportunities and drive implementation independently.
• Outstanding analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Willingness to work on-site in Merzig and stay close to the business operations.
