Purpose
In collaboration with Production, Engineering, EHS and Quality and Continuous improvement support the fragrance manufacturing operations and focus on delivering the company's objectives within corporate guidelines and local policies.
Core Responsibilities
Production Management Support
In conjunction with and under the general direction of the Process Engineering Manager control manufacturing of fragrance products, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s), ensuring compliance of standards.
Design high level concept for Engineering to do detail specifications
Production Operation
Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculation to determine manufacturing processes, tools and manpower requirements.
Solve problems using a combination of standard or modified procedures.
Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot problems, or arrange for equipment to be repaired or serviced by appropriate technicians.
Make independent decisions in planning, organizing and completing technical assignments. Not supervised in detail except on more difficult assignments.
Ensure all OT solutions are well documented and listed
Be the point of contact for any OT solutions questions
Coordinate IM&T requests with operations when infrastructure/ Givaudan global applications requires update/upgrade (e.g. security patches)
Manage OT vendors contract Service Level Agreements
Ensure OT systems lifecycle is in place
Support and document site disaster recovery plan for critical applications
Ensure site OT systems complies with COE Global OT standards and IM&T requirements (incl. security)
Ensure compliance and enforcement of company, safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations as they apply
Process Improvement
May recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of work. - Delivers training according to the new process - May update ISO documentation.
People Management
May give periodic technical guidance to less experienced professionals or technicians assigned to work on a common project and train new workers in the organisation's operating procedures and standards.
May make recommendations concerning selection, training, discipline and remuneration of staff.
Academic Background
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline.
Master's Degree is a Technical field is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Professional Experience
2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
0-1 years of progressive experience in people management.
Proven Change Management experience.
Technical Skills
Lean Manufacturing and/ or Six Sigma a plus.
Proficiency in SAP and other necessary department systems.
Understanding GMP, AIB and HAACP criteria.
