Tasks
- Supporting the validation of licensedmerchandise and Nintendo merchandise that use Nintendo IP including the characters, checking whether the products are in linewith company guidelines and standards of quality
- Accelerating the approval processby making design proposals when necessary, communicating the adjustment points effectively to thesuppliers and licensees
- Educating internal and externalpartners about Nintendo IP guidelines and rules
- Supporting with the management of theassets provided to the licensees
- Assisting in the development ofprocess documents, guidelines, and training material for internal and externalpartners
- Collecting, organising and archiving product samples
- Communicating with the Nintendomerchandise teams in Japan and US regarding mutual projects, merchandiserelated assets, guidelines and updates
- Performing other administrative anddesign tasks not related to merchandise approval assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Several years of professionalexperience in merchandise approval and/or merchandise development
- Bachelor's degree in graphic designstudies or comparable education
- Generalknowledge/understanding of product development, including print methods,production process, material constraints and general timelines
- Expert knowledge of Adobe CreativeCloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
- Proficient in Microsoft Officeincluding Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
- Excellent spoken and writtenEnglish language skills
- Must be comfortable with design anddevelopment processes that includes managing feedback from multiple sources,constructive criticism, and creative direction.
- Solution-oriented andresults-driven with strong problem-solving skills, experience in handling multiplesimultaneous projects
- Ability to work independently,while being very supportive and able to work in a collaborative teamenvironment
- Good project management andcommunication skills, capacity to share clear information and give preciseinstructions
- Experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects
- Structured working manner with alot of attention to details and consistency, in compliance with fixedguidelines
- Strong interest for Nintendoproducts and Japanese culture
- Experience in marketing materteralcreation, coordination and approval is a plus
- Onsite presence in Frankfurt officeat least three days per week to inspect physical samples
