About Lufthansa Aviation Training GmbH Lufthansa Aviation Training GmbH (LAT) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG with its headquarters at Munich Airport. LAT ranks among the global leaders in the field of flight training and employs a staff of around 700 at ten training locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the USA. Its client portfolio includes around 250 renowned airlines, among them the Lufthansa Group airlines. LAT's training equipment includes flight simulators for all common types of aircraft for pilot training, emergency and service mock-ups for the basic and further training of flight attendants, as well as numerous training aircraft for pilot training.

- Independently managing and coordinating the budget and forecast, including monitoring targets and resource allocation; overseeing the monthly closing process
- Analysis and reporting of plan/actual variances, as well as deriving recommendations for action
- Conducting special analyses and collaborating on or supporting strategic projects
- Supporting decision-making proposals and profitability analyses
- Close collaboration with relevant departments within the LAT Group and, where applicable, the Lufthansa Group
- Further development of the content and methodology of planning and management systems and the methods used
Requirements

- Degree in economics, business informatics, or similar, with 3-5 years' controlling experience
- Airline industry experience is a plus
- Strong numerical and statistical skills
- Clear communication at management and customer levels
- Ability to present complex content tailored to the audience and switch between detailed analysis and the big picture
- Strategic thinking and process understanding
- Solid knowledge of statistical methods and relevant software (SAP CO; MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Interest in continuous learning
- Advanced German and good English skills
