Job Description
In this role, you will provide direct day-to-day support to the customer and internal teams. You will assist with increasing SSAB's market share in the region by servicing existing and new prospective customers. You'll be part of a team that is responsible for the Southern Germany region and its growth, by maintaining professional yet personalized customer experience.
This role is based from home-office.
Responsibilities
• Develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Build strong relationships with existing & new customers, providing product advice & technical s upport within scope of the role. Preparing relevant quotations and sales orders.
• Field all telephonic and email related Enquires, prepare relevant quotes and other admin task related to account management.
• Drive regional related goals and strategies by aligning offers and proposals to selected customers.
• Accomplishes department and organization goals by driving overall customer experience. Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes, new products and developments in SSAB and the industries in which we support.
• Works closely with other functions, especially Regional Sales Managers, to maintain a high level of professionalism.
Visit customers app. 150km around the home base with a pool car (no private use).
About You
• 3-5 years of experience performing sales (inside or outside).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Extremely organized, excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
• You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines.
• Strong attention to details, analytical skills, exceptional judgment, dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, creative, problem-solving, hardworking & persistent, professional competence, proactive.

About the Team
SSAB Special Steels has global responsibility for sales of SSAB's quenched and tempered (Q&T) steels and advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) as well as for steel and plate production in Oxelösund, Sweden, and Mobile, USA.
