Production Operator

Overview

The Operator (m/f/d) runs the machines and checks whether the products meet the quality requirements. Their tasks may vary depending on the processes used (sheet extrusion, net extrusion, GCL production and profile production). They may include feeding raw materials to the machines, setting mould parameters according to established guidelines, visually inspecting the quality of the parts produced, diagnosing problems (troubleshooting), carrying out minor maintenance work on the equipment and completing the necessary production reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent operation of production systems
• Self-monitoring of quality in production and initiation of corrective measures in the event of deviations in compliance with quality regulations
• Documentation of the finished goods produced
• Preparation of repair orders in the event of detected defects in the machine and system technology
• Support with maintenance work on the production facilities

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed vocational training (preferably in a trade or technical field)
• Driving licence for industrial trucks (forklift/crane licence) an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts in a fully continuous shift system
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn
• Good problem-solving skills
