The team fosters engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation in a collaborative and hands-on environment. \\n\\nIn a unique opportunity to join our expanding team in the heart of Munich, you will utilize your extensive experience and deep technical expertise and leadership in image sensors and cameras to advance our exploration, architecture, development, and system integration of cutting-edge image sensors and related silicon technologies. This is a highly visible role with direct impact to Apple's ambitious product

Determine/Derive key functional and performance parameters for novel computer vision cameras/systems\nDetermine available technologies and solutions able to meet near-term product requirements\nDrive technology development efforts both internally and with strategic partners for longer term product development\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams/partners\nProvide oversight and guidance to active design efforts at strategic partners \nSupport camera subsystem integration support to system/product teams up to product release\nRepresent camera silicon components in cross-functional and leadership review forums.

Extensive experience in image sensor development \nPrior experience managing teams/organizations\nMS, or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer/Physics related fields\nDeep understanding of the full signal chain from photons through to processed image formats\nExperience with system/subsystem modeling/model based system engineering (such as SysML/Matlab/System C)\nHands on design experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal and/or Digital design\nProficiency in English

Optics and related performance parameters experience a plus\nStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills\nExperience with high speed Serdes interface protocols and signal integrity challenges
