Job Description
The primary focus of the Regional Manager is to shape and implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence in the German and Swiss markets. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with both current and potential distributors and clients to maximize growth in the biopharma industry.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy Development
Assist the team leader in formulating appropriate marketing and sales strategies based on in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, customer behavior, and the company's current position. -
Distributor & Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and key customers. Provide timely training and tailored solutions by leveraging internal and external resources to enhance customer engagement and increase brand visibility. -
Distributor Evaluation & Management
Support the team leader in developing a local distributor management and evaluation system. Responsibilities include assessing potential partners and setting annual sales targets for each distributor. -
Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing team on relevant initiatives, including planning and executing events (e.g., webinars, seminars, exhibitions), identifying media and promotional platforms, coordinating internal experts to deliver presentations, and tracking the development of promotional materials. -
Industry Engagement
Attend trade shows and industry events to stay informed of market trends and expand the professional network. -
Sales Achievement
Meet or exceed agreed sales targets in the assigned regional markets. -
Sales Reporting
Maintain and update detailed sales reports, including contact pipelines, leads, and confirmed deals through both direct and distributor channels.
Requirements
1. Knowledge (Education/Major/Certifications)
- Master's degree or higher, preferably in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, marketing, or sales in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Experience in international business development is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritization
- Proficiency in English and German or French, written and spoken
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent data analysis and project management skills
- Proven negotiation experience
- Ability to identify and secure large sales opportunities
- Skilled in conducting market research
