Application Engineer Thermal Interface Materials (d/f/m)

About this Position

What you'll do

• Support and take ownership of laboratory activities for thermalinterface materials (TIMs) and adhesives in e-Mobility and automotiveelectronics
• Perform hands-on material testing in in-house labs (mechanical, electrical, analytical, dispensing, and application testing)
• Work closely with experienced Application Engineers to build up your technical expertise
• Support customer and sales projects, including product selection, testing, and material validation
• Collaborate with external testing institutes for specialized test setups and new methodologies
• Contribute to customer complaint investigations, including root cause analysis and on-site support
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of technical trainings and Tech Days (internal & external)

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive, adhesives, or a related technical field
• Strong hands-on mentality - you enjoy working with lab and dispensing equipment, setting up tests, and solving practical problems
• High interest in technology, materials, and how things work in real applications
• Good communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working in an international environment
• Fluent in English and German skills
