Accountant Specialist (m/f/d)
Your Tasks:
Act as the main accounting and finance contact for the Distribution Center Spare Parts business, linking operations and Finance,
Coordinate with warranty/program teams and customers to resolve claims and credit issues,
Collaborate with Textron Aviation Parts & Distribution Accounting to clarify and improve processes,
Work closely with Distribution Center functions and Finance Managers to analyze variances, clarify financial matters, and improve processes,
Support trade compliance-related activities and assist with audits,
Perform local ad hoc analyses to support management decisions,
Contribute to the Lawson-to-CSAP project, including required reconciliations,
Monitor deferred core invoicing and pro-part pending processes,
Perform and coordinate monthly account reconciliations and month-end closing activities related to inventory and spare parts operations.
Perform and support annual cycle counts and year-end inventory counts.
Your Profile:
Successfully completed degree in finance, controlling, accounting, or a related field.
Relevant professional experience in financial and general ledger accounting, ideally at an international company,
Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB); familiarity with US GAAP is desirable,
Fluency in spoken and written German and English,
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office; knowledge of Concur is a plus,
Ability to work independently and take initiative,
Operational and analytical skills,
