Overview
Leverage deep expertise in Murex, with extensive hands-on experience across key modules and architectural frameworks, to define and deliver enterprise-scale solutions. Apply a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end functional processes within banks and asset management organizations, including the interdependencies and interactions between front-office, risk, finance, and operations streams, to drive coherent, scalable, and strategically aligned solution architectures.
Lead and influence large-scale architecture and design initiatives, facilitating engagement with senior business stakeholders, platform owners, and technical teams, translating complex requirements into robust functional and technical architectures, aligning across multiple programs, and driving decisions toward sustainable and enterprise-wide solutions.
Responsibilities Define and govern the overall Murex architecture landscape, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise strategy across multiple programs and platforms
- Drive architectural decision-making and technology selection, establishing standards and best practices for client-specific Murex implementations and broader transformation initiatives
- Lead complex front-to-back transformation programs, operating across distributed teams and environments, taking ownership of end-to-end solution integrity and delivery outcomes
- Establish and oversee cross-framework integration strategies, ensuring alignment across platforms, systems, and data layers, supported by robust architectural documentation and governance
- Translate high-level solution strategies into structured architectural designs, guiding implementation teams and ensuring alignment with agile delivery principles and enterprise objectives
- Lead go-live strategy and execution across large-scale programs, including governance of change management, test strategy, and post-go-live stabilization frameworks
- Define and drive the evolution of CI/CD architectures and DevOps practices, enabling scalable, efficient, and high-quality delivery across global teams
- Drive continuous innovation and optimization of delivery models, including the adoption of automation, cloud capabilities, and advanced tooling to improve efficiency and scalability
- Establish and own governance frameworks for risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across complex Murex environments, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards
- Mentor and guide senior technical teams and architects, fostering capability development and ensuring consistency in architectural practices across the organization
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Murex, with deep expertise across technical interfacing areas such as MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre- and post-trade processing, market data, and static data, as well as functional domains including GOM, product and trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, and counterparty management
- Proven expertise in defining and governing the technical architecture of large-scale Murex platforms, combined with detailed knowledge of data models, including MxML Exchange and Datamart
- Demonstrated experience leading and consolidating complex, multi-instance Murex landscapes across enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with database technologies, including Transact-SQL or PL/SQL, as well as Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting, complemented by proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including greenfield implementations, migration programs, and platform consolidation efforts
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across business and technology communities
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and architecture patterns, with experience driving cloud adoption and modernization strategies
- Experience with automation of operational processes and advanced delivery practices, including DevOps and CI/CD frameworks using tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Automic, and Autosys
- Hands-on experience with Murex batch configuration, end-of-day (EOD) processing, and platform optimization
- Experience with Murex upgrades and migrations (e.g., version 3.1.36 and above) is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of capital markets
- Deep understanding of IT operating models and service management disciplines, including Incident, Problem, Change, IT Service Continuity, and Capacity Management
