As Manager Production (m/f/d) you are responsible for managing a large and complex production area, including team leaders. Your objective is to ensure efficient, high-quality, and on-time order processing through effective control, prioritization, and the continuous development of employees, processes, and resources in line with company requirements.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large production area, including direct leadership of team leaders, as well as coaching and development of employees
• Define priorities and steer daily operations to ensure adherence to deadlines, quality, and productivity targets
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues and implement sustainable improvement measures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, quality, and safety standards, and drive execution of the local business plan
• Contribute to resource planning (personnel, capacities, materials, equipment) and further develop operational processes and guidelines
• Conduct performance reviews, feedback discussions, and derive personnel development and compensation measures

Show your expertise

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician) with further qualification as Master Craftsman or Technician or completed degree in Engineering, Production, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, particularly in indirect leadership structures (e.g., managing team leaders)
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, manufacturing workflows, and quality standards
• Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems and implement sustainable improvement measures
• Experience in capacity and resource planning as well as in prioritization and operational control
• Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DGUV)
• Excellent communication and assertiveness skills, with a cross-functional mindset
• Very good German and good English language skills
