CAMS - Continuous Airworthiness Management Staff (m/f/d)

Position Overview:

The Continuous Airworthiness Management (CAM) Staff member acts as the central point of contact (SPoC) for assigned aircraft and customers, ensuring full compliance with airworthiness requirements while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role combines technical oversight, stakeholder coordination, and proactive customer engagement to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

1. Airworthiness & Compliance

  • Assume full responsibility for the continuous airworthiness of assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-CAMO / Part-M or applicable third-country regulations,
  • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g. EASA),
  • Monitor Aircraft maintenance status and due items, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and OEM recommendations and Life-limited components and airworthiness limitations.


2. Maintenance Planning & Technical Control

  • Review and validation of Maintenance work packages, Findings and corrective actions, Release documentation prior to return to service,
  • Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-budget execution,
  • Provide clear status updates and actively manage customer expectations throughout maintenance events.


3. Documentation, Reviews & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure complete and accurate technical documentation
  • Manage and support Airworthiness Reviews (ARC)
  • Maintain full control of Aircraft logbooks, Component traceability and lifecycle records, Certificates of Release to Service (CRS),
  • Oversee maintenance providers and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.


4. Customer Interface & Management

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to the customer, transparently communicating airworthiness status, risks, and required actions,
  • Communicate complex technical topics clearly and transparently,
  • Coordinate seamlessly between engineering, maintenance, operations, OEM functions, sales, and the customer, Anticipate customer needs and act proactively to provide solutions before issues arise ("be ahead" mindset).


Key Requirements:

  • Degree or completed apprenticeship in: Aviation, Business Administration or other related field,
  • Part 66 Cat B License will be advantageous,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation business, work experience preferable in Part-M,
  • Practical experience and expertise regarding the application of technical security standards,
  • Fulfilling the Part- M requirements iaw M.A. 706,
  • Fundamental knowledge of the commission regulation 216/2008, 1321/2014 all its alterations and amendments, the associated rules, requirements and processes.
  • Able to read, write & speak English on an advanced level,
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements,
  • Very good IT-Skills (SAP / MS-Office).
