Deputy Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a major engineering and construction project in Munich, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, safety-critical project within a fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe management of HV/LV systems, supporting switching operations, commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with all electrical safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and operation of HV/LV electrical systems and associated switching activities.
  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and in compliance with site procedures, electrical safety rules, and industry regulations.
  • Prepare, issue, and control permits to work, isolations, and switching schedules.
  • Assist with commissioning, energisation, and system handover activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of safe systems of work.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across all electrical activities.
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate the safe execution of electrical works.
  • Support the Senior Authorised Person in maintaining electrical safety standards across the project.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds HV/LV Authorised Person certification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in an Authorised Person (AP) or Deputy SAP capacity.
  • Strong experience managing HV/LV electrical systems within data centres, industrial, infrastructure, utilities, or energy projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety rules, switching procedures, isolations, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and energisation activities.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a safety-critical environment.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany or the EU is preferred.
