About the role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. You will oversee local entity controlling, project financial management, audit coordination, and tax compliance while partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver valuable financial insights and sustainable business growth.
About the department
You will be part of a strong international department with colleagues in Germany and the rest of the world. You will refer to the Regional Controller for EMEA and will collaborate closely with leaders and key stakeholders inside and outside Germany.

As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. You will oversee local entity controlling, project financial management, audit coordination, and tax compliance while partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver valuable financial insights and sustainable business growth.

You will be part of a strong international department with colleagues in Germany and the rest of the world. You will refer to the Regional Controller for EMEA and will collaborate closely with leaders and key stakeholders inside and outside Germany.
Your Responsibilities :
Local Entity Controlling
- Monitor and analyze the full Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and Net Working Capital (NWC).
- Coordinate month-end closing activities.
- Support and guide the Financial Shared Service (FSS) provider to ensure accurate and efficient processes.
- Perform accruals and corrective actions in collaboration with FSS.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to management and Group Finance.
- Ensure accurate reporting from ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to the consolidation system (OneStream).
- Support and control the forecasting process.
- Review and approve accounting entries and monthly reconciliations.
- Act as a business partner to operational leaders by providing data-driven financial insights to support decision-making.
Project and Order Controlling
- Ensure accurate revenue and cost revisions.
- Perform ongoing analysis to ensure correct monthly cost and revenue recognition.
- Follow up on AR/AP issues and ensure timely payments.
- Challenge project controllers and business partners on financial performance and developments.
Local Statutory Audit and Group Audit Reporting
- Lead and coordinate local and group audit activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and group policies.
Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings.
- Act as the main contact for tax auditors, authorities, and local tax consultants.
- Coordinate and ensure timely completion of tax audits.
You bring
- Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent international accounting qualification.
- Big 4 experience is considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance stakeholders.
- Good understanding of statutory audits, VAT, and CIT requirements.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience working in multicultural organizations and with Financial Shared Service centers.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, and OneStream is an advantage.
