Take ownership of the commercial success of complex projects by managing financial performance, risks, and opportunities throughout the entire project lifecycle. In this role, you will act as a key business partner to project teams, ensuring transparency, profitability, and informed decision-making.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects throughout the entire lifecycle (cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial responsibility)
• Active cost, revenue, and cash flow management to ensure project profitability
• Preparing and monitoring project budgets, including conducting variance analyses
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities in close coordination with project teams and specialized departments
• Supporting contract structuring, change order management, and negotiations with clients and partners
• Reporting to management and ensuring transparent project KPIs and decision-making bases

Show your expertise

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in commercial project management, project controlling, or a similar function
• Solid knowledge of financial planning, controlling, and project management methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Excellent communication skills and a confident presence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
