We are hiring a: Junior Inside Sales Representative

Location: Limburg, Germany

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Hybrid working arrangement, with increasing on-site presence expected over time

About the role:

The Junior Inside Sales Representative owns and develops a defined customer portfolio, driving proactive engagement, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. The role acts as the primary commercial contact for customers, coordinating internal resources and ensuring a seamless customer experience across the buying cycle. The role works collaboratively with Direct Sales, Technical Teams and Shared Services to support the full customer lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

Customer Relationship & Sales Support & Customer Meetings

  • Manage an Inside Sales customer portfolio
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Act as primary commercial contact for customers
  • Conduct proactive outreach including calls, follow-ups and campaigns
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and growth opportunities
  • Support and collaborate with Direct Sales on shared accounts

Sales & Commercial Ownership

  • Receive, qualify and respond to customer enquiries
  • Analyze customer needs, in collaboration with technical teams if required.
  • Propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions
  • Prepare quotations, define discounts within the DOA framework, verify margins and risks
  • Follow up and track quotations
  • Convert quotations into orders

Order & Customer Experience Management

  • Ensure smooth order execution in coordination with Shared Services
  • Monitor backlog and proactively communicate with customers
  • Manage delivery expectations and resolve issues
  • Ensure high-quality customer experience across the lifecycle

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate customer and commercial data within CRM and ERP systems
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects where required
  • Actively engage within specialised training

The Junior Inside Sales Representative may participate in cross-functional projects within Watlow

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Initial experience in industrial B2B sales, with commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to coordinate technical and commercial solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to customer engagement
  • Comfortable working with CRM, ERP and other digital tools, with an interest in using AI and technology to improve efficiency
  • Professional level of English and German
  • Background in industrial manufacturing, thermal solutions, or related technical sectors is an advantage
