Own Regional Search Strategy
- Build and execute a regional SEO/GSO roadmap tied explicitly to pipeline contribution and revenue influence, not just ranking or traffic.
- Map search intent across the full enterprise buying journey - from early-stage problem awareness through vendor evaluation, RFP research, and final selection.
- Conduct deep keyword research targeting the France, Spain and Italy market decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Heads of Procurement) across Retarus' core verticals including, industrial manufacturing, retail, energy, and financial services.
- Identify and close content gaps that are costing Retarus visibility at high-intent stages of the funnel.
Technical SEO
- Own site health for the regional domain: crawl budget, Core Web Vitals, structured data hreflang, canonicalization, and France, Spain and Italy SEO configuration.
- Conduct regular technical audits and drive implementation through the web development team, tracking remediation to completion.
- Optimize page architecture, internal linking, and content hierarchy to support both search engines and enterprise buyer navigation patterns.
Generative Search Optimization (GSO)
- Lead strategy for Retarus' visibility in AI-driven search surfaces: Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT search, and emerging LLM-based answer engines.
- Structure content and metadata to maximize citation and inclusion in AI-generated responses for queries relevant to enterprise messaging and security.
- Monitor shifts in generative search behavior and adapt content architecture, FAQ layers, and authority signals accordingly.
- Develop high-authority, AI-citable assets: comparison guides, technical glossaries, vendor evaluation frameworks, and expert Q&As from existing content or work with marketing and product marketing to develop this content
Content, Campaign, and ABM Alignment
- Partner with content and product marketing to develop search-optimized assets that serve both organic discovery and account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
- Align keyword and assist with content strategies with named target accounts and verticals in collaboration with ABM and marketing managers.
- Produce or brief French-language content that positions Retarus as a category authority across the product lines
- Support digital PR and link-building outreach targeting analyst publications, industry media, and technology partner ecosystems.
Experimentation & Competitive Intelligence
- Run structured A/B and multivariate tests on titles, meta descriptions, page structures, and CTAs to improve click-through and conversion rates from organic.
- Maintain a competitive SEO intelligence function: track share of voice, benchmark competitors' content and backlink strategies, and surface actionable gaps.
- Monitor and respond to algorithm changes with a documented testing-and-learning approach.
Measurement & Reporting
- Define, own, and report on SEO/GSO KPIs including organic traffic, keyword ranking trends, share of voice, assisted pipeline, and estimated revenue influence.
- Build executive-ready dashboards in GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMRush platform present monthly to the Senior Marketing Manager, marketing ops, and regional leadership.
- Contribute to marketing attribution modeling by documenting organic's role in multi-touch deal journeys.
What You Bring
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Proven track record optimizing for complex, multi-stakeholde enterprise sales cycles
- Deep technical SEO expertise: site architecture, crawl optimization, Core Web Vitals, structured data, hreflang, and SEO.
- Working knowledge of Generative Search Optimization (GSO): how LLMs retrieve and cite content, and how to engineer for that.
- Proficiency in: Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and/or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or equivalent crawler.
- Native French speaker; professional-level English for global team communication.
- Strong data fluency: you can move from raw search console data to a CMO-level insight without someone else doing the analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders: internal and external content writers, web developers, campaign managers, product marketing managers
