Are you passionate about data science and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying? The Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student/Scientific Assistant to join our dynamic team!
The Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI) is an integrative research institute at TUM that helps researchers in data science, machine learning, and AI across the university collaborate and network, offers related training and services, and reaches out to the public.
Your responsibilities:
• Maintain the contents of our website
• Monitor relevant TUM news and share suitable content on the MDSI website
• Support our outreach team, e.g. during MDSI events
• Maintain and develop our MySQL database
Requirements:
• Interest in data science and data management
• Currently enrolled in a university study program, preferably in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field (from semester 3)
• Very good Microsoft Office as well as CMS (TYPO3) skills
• Programming experience (ideally VBA/SQL)
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) and teamwork abilities
• Reliable and collaborative personality
• Ability to work independently and precise while effectively managing your time
