Role

We are looking for an Account Executive, Public Sector to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Germany, reporting to the Regional Director, Public Sector DACH in the Sales and Go-to-Market department. You will join a global group of professionals dedicated to delighting our customers and driving a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. In this role, you will demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world and cement our position as the world leader in cloud security.

What you'll do (Role Expectations)

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including c-suite decision-makers
  • Create a long-term account strategy aligned with customer goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and contribute to account planning
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client businesses and aligning Zscaler solutions with their goals

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise technology in the German Public Sector
  • Proven track record of net new logo accomplishments and value selling experience
  • Passionate focus on Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression, including thoughtful planning and preparation
  • Fluency in the German language to effectively manage assigned public sector accounts

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience leveraging AI-powered territory planning tools or predictive analytics to navigate complex public sector procurement cycles and identify digital transformation opportunities
  • Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work within a defined sales process
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional departments, partners, and team members to drive collective success
