Job Description
Job summary: The HR Manager has the responsibility for managing and overseeing all HR aspects of the employee's life cycle as well as projects at Site level, including resources utilization and day-to-day operations.
The site of Wiesbaden counts approximately 90 employees.
Prerequisite: Great communication skills both verbal and written (German (native) & English).
Essential job functions:
- Being both hands on and strategic, manage the employee's life cycle, between the opening of a vacant / new position, the recruitment, the employment contract, the payroll + time & attendance and the possible offboarding as well as the HR cycles like supporting the management for Talent Management, Performance Management and Merit increase / bonus.
- Create and execute HR (project) plans to meet company requirements and objectives in all HR fields (Social Relations, Business Partnering, Change Management, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, ...). The focus will lie on supporting the General Manager (head of the Site) and his.her Leadership Team on topics such as organizational design, change management, development of (soft) skills, projects (...).
- Update and revise HR project plans for presentations and update GM / HR Director on project status.
- Work with stakeholders to secure or schedule project resources necessary.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
- Create and maintain HR metrics and report out.
- Hold regular status meetings.
- Manage personnel issues and provide timely feedback/reinforcement on performance.
- Ensure adequate cross-training within the department to effectively manage changes in workflow.
- Ensure personnel receive adequate communication and direction to perform their job functions.

Job requirements:
- Great communication skills both verbal and written (German (native) & English).
- Good computer skills, excel, word and Microsoft project.

Education and experience requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a HR generalist position.
- Supervisory training or experience (incl. matrix organization).
- Master in Human Resources or similar
