- You will help leading pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare organizations unlock value from data by designing and implementing advanced analytics, AI, and Generative AI solutions.
- You will extract, process, and analyze complex structured and unstructured datasets across the life sciences value chain, including commercial, medical, patient, market, and R&D data.
- You will leverage your technical expertise to develop, test, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI solutions that address critical business challenges and support data-driven decision making.
- You will combine advanced analytics, machine learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate actionable insights, automate knowledge-intensive processes, and accelerate business outcomes for life sciences clients.
- You will translate business questions into analytical approaches and AI use cases, ensuring that results are robust, scalable, and aligned with real-world impact.
- You will take ownership of workstreams, collaborate closely with client stakeholders, and communicate technical findings in a clear and business-relevant way.
- You will present analyses, AI solutions, and strategic recommendations to client teams and senior executives.
- You will contribute to the development of innovative offerings at the intersection of data science, Generative AI, and life sciences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
- Fluency in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- 4-6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
Strong experience developing, deploying, and scaling machine learning models using Python or similar technologies. - Solid understanding of AI and machine learning methodologies, including tree-based methods, Bayesian approaches, and modern Generative AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience applying Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or related GenAI frameworks to solve business challenges.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services for data storage, compute, automation, machine learning, and application deployment.
- Knowledge of relational, SQL, and NoSQL databases, as well as data engineering and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset, with a passion for leveraging data and AI to solve complex business challenges.
- Experience in consulting is a strong plus.
- Experience in pharma, medtech or consumer health is a strong plus, including familiarity with industry data, business processes, and challenges across pricing, market access and commercial functions.
