Nurse Consultant (CYS) NF-04

This position is located at Child and Youth Services, Hohenfels, Germany.

Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week:

• First Child: 100% childcare fee discount
• Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount
• Available to CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours).

Qualifications:Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. (Must be provided with application submission)
• Must have active, current registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.(Must be provided with application submission)

In addition to the above, applicants must have at least one of the following:
1. One year of specialized experience equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level
2. Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education or a master's or equivalent degree in the field of nursing.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• Highly-qualified candidates will have experience in pediatric nursing and/or working with children/youth with special needs.

The experience and knowledge listed above MUST be reflected on your resume to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the highly preferred criteria position will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.Education:Proof of education is required at the time of application.
