LUMed - Production Technician

We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join our team at LUMed, based on-site at 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen.

The Production Technician will operate machinery and associated process equipment within a manufacturing environment while maintaining a flexible approach across designated working areas.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Precisely manufacture and finish individual components - right through to the assembly of the finished instrument.
• Using manual dexterity and technical expertise, apply various processes such as soft soldering, bonding and casting to manufacture high-precision components.
• Carry out mechanical machining techniques such as turning, milling and drilling, thereby making a decisive contribution to the manufacture of high-quality medical instruments.
• Carry out interim and final inspections conscientiously to ensure the highest standards.
• Organise your working environment independently and in a structured manner for maximum efficiency.

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:

• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures accurately.
• Literate and numerate, with a fluent standard of German.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Basic PC literacy and accurate data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required as well as part of a team in a positive working atmosphere.
• Experience in the production of complex medical devices. (desirable)
