Senior Accountant

Valsoftis looking for an eager and self-motivatedSenior Accountantto join our growing team.

AstheSenior Accountant, you will work alongside theAccounting Manager and Head of Finance.

What your day will look like:

• Perform financial period close tasks and complexjournal entries/accountinganalysis.

• Perform Balance Sheet analysis and reviews, includingreconciliations ofaccounts.

• Perform day to dayrecordingAP and ARdata(Invoices/credit notes etc.)

• Make sure allinvoices are enteredand issuedina timelymannercorrectly in theERP.

• Follow up with Vendors/Suppliersregardingmissinginvoices, full accountability on the cost accruals for the P&L review.

• Process payments, banktransfers,and ensure that approvals areadequate.

• Reconcileexpense reports, credit cards,invoices,and inter-companytransactions.

• Ensure thatkey controls and proceduresare respected and implemented whereneeded.

• Preparing financialKPIsand reviewing for accuracy.

• Participate in the completion ofauditengagements and compliancerequirements.

• Prepare ad-hocperformance analysisand managementreporting.

• Assistin financialintegrationfor newacquisitions.

• Performvariance analysisof actual results vs. financial plans (budgets and forecasts)

• SupportHead of Finance in oversight of junior accountants, including review of their work,coachingand onboarding.Supervise&assistthe team and make sure the whole team deliversin a timelymanner.

• Participate inspecial projects.

About You:

• Minimum of5years of experience.

• Multi-currency and multi-divisional experience are key requirementsisanasset.

• A professionalqualification in bookkeeping and/or accounting is anasset.

• Demonstrableexpertisein accrual accounting theory and practice is anasset.

• Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel.

• A detail-oriented self-starter who thrives on the process and solvingproblems.

• A genuinely curious mindset, capable of quickly learning new systems, and the desire to grow and develop overtime.

• A team player who loves a challenge and wants to eventually 'own' their area of thebusiness.

• Fluency in German and English isrequired.
