Your Role

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in the Life Science sector in the area around Cologne, Bonn and Dortmund, driving growth and ensuring a superior partner experience across our Life Science portfolio. You will identify new opportunities within existing accounts and target prospects, maintain an ambitious sales pipeline, and collaborate with marketing, technical service, and CaSE teams to deliver seamless solutions. You will articulate product value, address customer challenges, develop and execute strategic account plans, and ensure timely and accurate CRM updates for regular senior management reporting. You will stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity, while traveling as needed to support customers and build lasting relationships.

Who you are
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • First experiences in account management or life science sales.
  • Strong understanding of the life science landscape, key players, trends, and regulatory context.
  • Ability to travel by car at least 50% of the time; driving license required.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative, analytical thinker with strong organizational skills and multitasking capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
