The What:
Better engineering decisions start with better analysis. We are looking for an engineer to advance structural analysis capabilities by developing, validating, and improving methods, deepening understanding of structural behaviour, and sharing this knowledge across products and projects.
The Why:
You support product development by applying established methods while continuously improving them. This includes building FE models, interpreting structural behaviour, validating assumptions, and identifying better approaches. You do not only deliver results-you build engineering understanding and turn it into capabilities that strengthen future products and projects.
You ensure:
Develop structural analysis methods: Build, validate, and improve methods, models, and tools that enhance quality, speed, and capability of structural analysis.
High Performance - Raise the bar on analysis capability.
Own delivery through ambiguity: Identify obstacles early, take initiative, and deliver reliably even without clear direction. Accountability - Own impact. No excuses.
Surface risks and uncertainties early: Identify assumptions, limitations, and knowledge gaps and communicate them openly to support better engineering decisions. Candor - Truth improves engineering.
Build cross-functional trust: Align with stakeholders, integrate perspectives, and commit once decisions are made. Impact comes from adoption. Togetherness - One team, aligned execution.

YOUR PROFILE
What You Bring
- Deep understanding of composite materials, laminate mechanics, and failure mechanisms
- Experience applying and improving structural analysis methods for composites
- Strong engineering judgement to evaluate simulations and derive conclusions
- Solid FEA and structural mechanics knowledge (load transfer, nonlinear behaviour, structural response)
- Research mindset and curiosity about structural behaviour
- Fluent English
- Scripting/automation (Python, MATLAB)
- Correlation of simulations with test data
- HyperWorks or similar nonlinear FEA tools
- German skills
