Accounts Receivables Specialist (f/m/d)

What to expect:

• Operate and monitor the Emagia AI-driven Cash Application module, including validation of system-generated matches
• Investigate and resolve unapplied, misapplied, and unidentified cash
• Ensure accurate and timely clearing of cash receipts
• Track and improve auto-match rules and overall automation performance
• Apply incoming customer payments (ACH, wire) to open receivables
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention in cash application processes
• Collaborate with Customer Accounts team to process payments based on received remittance information and adjustment requests
• Process customer refunds using banking platforms and payment provider systems (e.g., Adyen,), ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger on a regular basis
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank, ERP, and general ledger
• Support month-end closing activities for AR
• Update, align, and optimize macros and process workflows from legacy systems to Emagia, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and consistency with current operational requirements

What we are looking for:

• Studies in business administration or similar field or commercial vocational training with a combination of education and experience.
• First work experience in Finance would be a plus.
• Accurate and focused working style.
• High affinity to numbers.
• Customer-oriented.
• Fluent in English, any other European language is welcomed.
• Open-minded, strong in teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Office, experience with an ERP system would be a plus.
