  • Location: Berlin, Germany (On-site)
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Languages: Fluency in German & English
  • Level: Mid-Senior Level
  • Compensation: 90,000-120,000 + Meaningful Equity

About the Role

As the Founding Product Lead, you'll own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's core platform, orchestrating the entire patient journey, from intake and surgery through recovery and day-to-day clinic operations.

This is a true greenfield opportunity where you'll work directly with the founders and CPTO to define the product, establish product culture, and shape how technology transforms real clinical workflows. You'll spend time both building product strategy and working directly with surgeons, nurses, clinic staff, and patients to deeply understand operational challenges and translate them into exceptional user experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core platform
  • Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into intuitive digital experiences
  • Lead product discovery, user research, prioritization, and roadmap execution
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and Clinical teams to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Conduct field research inside clinical environments to understand real user needs
  • Balance business priorities, technical constraints, and user experience in product decisions
  • Establish product processes, frameworks, and best practices as the organization grows
  • Drive continuous product improvement through rapid experimentation and user feedback

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience building and scaling products used in complex operational environments
  • Strong product strategy, discovery, and roadmap ownership experience
  • Ability to translate messy real-world workflows into simple, scalable user experiences
  • Strong understanding of product, technology, UX, and business trade-offs
  • Experience working directly with diverse non-technical stakeholders
  • Professional proficiency in German and English
  • Ability to work on-site in Berlin
  • High ownership mindset with a strong bias toward execution and continuous learning

Nice to Have

  • Experience as an early Product Manager or Founding Product hire
  • Background in HealthTech, healthcare operations, logistics, or other operationally intensive industries
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with sensitive data
  • Experience building AI-enabled digital products
  • Startup or high-growth scale-up experience

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (90,000-120,000)
  • Meaningful equity as an early founding team member
  • Opportunity to build and lead the product organization from day one
  • Direct collaboration with experienced founders and a highly accomplished CPTO
  • Significant ownership over product vision, strategy, and execution
  • Small, high-performing team focused on speed, quality, and real-world impact
  • Opportunity to build technology that improves healthcare at national scale

If you're excited to build a category-defining healthcare product from the ground up and shape the future of outpatient care, we'd love to hear from you...
