A professional and experienced live in overseas nanny is needed by a family based in Dusseldorf, Germany to provide quality childcare support for their sweet little baby in a shared care role. General nursery duties will be expected and it will be highly appreciated if the candidate has experience with first time mums. The family currently has a maternity nurse who will be leaving mid December and they would ideally require the nanny to have a 1 or 2 days handover.
The nanny must be a native English speaker. A valid first aid qualification is also necessary for this position.
Working hours: 6 days a week, 12 hours per day
Accommodation: Separate floor of the house (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen)
Duties include:
- changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
- teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
- creating activities and playdates
- preparing and administering healthy food for the little child
- preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
- cleaning and washing up after child's meals
- reporting every activity and issue to the parents
- organising the child's clothes
- doing laundry and ironing the child's clothes
- making sure the child's room is always clean
- doing occasional grocery shopping of the child's supplies
The nanny must be available to start mid Decemer.
