Project Manager Science, Exploration and Space Safety (m/f/d)
The Directorate of Predevelopment,Proposals and Space System Studies is a strategic cornerstone of the company'sproject pipeline. It drives the early shaping of future space missions bytranslating customer requirements into technically sound and competitiveconcepts. Within this directorate, the Department of Science, Exploration andSpace Safety Missions focuses on the conceptualisation and maturation ofmissions related to astrophysics, planetary science, robotic solar systemexploration, space safety, planetary defence, space weather, in-orbitservicing, in-space logistics and debris mitigation. By bridging scientificambition with engineering feasibility, the department plays a key role insecuring the OHB's leadership in future international space programs.
As an experienced and committed ProjectManager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the successful implementationof exciting and complex proposals and projects in the domains of science andspace safety in Phases 0/A and B1. You will lead interdisciplinary projectteams, ensuring efficient collaboration and optimal performance. You will playa key role in the planning, coordination and management of projects to ensurethat they are completed on time, cost-effectively and to the highest quality.
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the project management for proposals and projects in Phases 0/A/B1. Be accountable for the cost, schedule and performance of studies or projects.
- Support the preparation and implementation of mission and system proposals.
- Analysis, definition and agreement of the requirements with the project team and the customer(s). Lead negotiation with customers, potential partners and suppliers.
- Strengthen our relationships with clients, and act as a liaison with key stakeholders in client organisations.
