Key Responsibilities:

Financial Close & Reporting
- Prepare, review and finalize monthly financial statements
- Manage month-end close per corporate calendar
- Submit reporting packages and supporting schedules
- Perform reconciliations and GL activities
- Provide variance analysis and KPIs
- Prepare workpapers and ad hoc analysis

Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies, SOX, US GAAP
- Support internal/external audits
- Maintain internal controls and documentation
- Coordinate statutory filings and reporting
- Support balance sheet and P&L reviews

Accounting Operations
- Oversee general ledger and accounting systems
- Ensure inventory costing and accuracy
- Perform and review accounting transactions
- Support treasury cash flow forecasting
- Work with local consultants

Process & Systems
- Drive process improvements
- Optimize ERP/reporting tools
- Support ERP implementations
- Establish accounting processes

Business Partnering
- Provide financial insights
- Support decision-making
- Analyze costs and performance
- Support CapEx planning
- Deliver metrics to leadership

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely and accurate close
- Compliance with SOX/audits
- Accuracy of reporting
- Control effectiveness
- Process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, including experience leading teams
- Knowledge of US GAAP and HGB
- Experience with financial close and reporting processes
- Exposure to SOX compliance and audit requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Full professional proficiency in English and German
Preffered Qualifications:
- CPA or MBA
- Cost accounting experience
- ERP experience (SAP/Dynamics)
- Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting tools
- Familiarity with B7 or other local ERP systems is a plus
- Process improvement experience
- Experience in a similar industry is an advantage
